Cassandra Wilson Cassandra Wilson is a Jazz Diva whose liquid voice flows like warm honey, smooth, languid, and it takes it's time to caress your ears. Her full bodied voice is a gift to the Jazz world and her presence reinforces there are still more Jazz greats to come. All of her music is well recorded, perhaps just a trait of Blue Note. I have all of her Blue Note albums, and I love them all. I think my favorite song is Strange Fruit on her New Moon Daughter album.
